Epoxy Flooring Warranty & Care

Warranty terms should reflect the actual slab, preparation, coating system and use—not a generic marketing promise.

What written workmanship terms should identify

  • The quoted site and coated area
  • The preparation and coating system
  • The workmanship coverage period stated in the quote
  • The process for reporting a concern
  • Reasonable inspection access

Common exclusions or limitations

  • Active moisture, rising damp or hydrostatic pressure
  • Structural movement or cracks that reopen
  • Damage from impact, dragging, chemicals or misuse
  • Tyre marking, scratches, staining or normal wear
  • UV colour change where an unsuitable system is exposed
  • Failure of an undisclosed or incompatible underlying surface

Initial cure protection

Do not assume a floor is ready because it feels dry. Pedestrian access, equipment, water exposure and vehicle traffic can have different return times. Follow the system-specific handover guidance.

Cleaning and maintenance

  • Remove grit before mopping so it does not act as an abrasive.
  • Use non-abrasive tools and compatible neutral cleaners.
  • Clean oils, chemicals and spills promptly.
  • Use mats or protective feet beneath high-load or sharp equipment.
  • Inspect worn traffic lanes, edges and damaged areas before deterioration spreads.

Important: This page is general guidance. The signed quote or project-specific warranty terms control the actual coverage.
