Epoxy Flooring Installation Process
A clear process helps customers compare quotes on preparation, coating build and return-to-service requirements.
1. Project brief
Confirm the area, use, approximate size, traffic, finish, wetness, cleaning and downtime.
2. Substrate assessment
Check concrete condition, contamination, cracks, moisture risk and previous coatings.
3. Written scope
State preparation, repairs, coating stages, texture, colour, exclusions and cure guidance.
4. Mechanical preparation
Grind or otherwise prepare the slab to expose a sound, clean surface profile.
5. Repairs and detailing
Complete agreed crack, defect, edge or joint work within the limitations of the substrate.
6. Coating installation
Apply the compatible primer, build coat, decorative finish, aggregate and topcoat.
7. Cure and protection
Keep traffic, water, dust and equipment off the floor for the stated cure period.
8. Handover
Provide cleaning, maintenance, warranty and return-to-service guidance.
